Restless Lady – We fished day one of the Mako Mania Tournament at the Baltimore Canyons. Catch consisted of one mako, one tiger shark. Day two we fished the tea cup and hooked one blue and one dusky. Water conditions were not ideal for shark fishing…a calm sea makes for a slow drift.
Our sister boat, The Jade II fished at 100 fathoms on day one and released one tiger shark and two blue sharks…slow 1.5 mile drift. On the second day, two tiger sharks were released and a few golden tilefish we caught off the bottom.
