TUNA TOURNAMENT- fished Friday had no tuna bites at the bigeye hole along with 70 other boats, had 3 white marlin encounters on our heavy gear with no luck, weather was almost too pretty ….
Back at it on Saturday- same slow bite ’till about 12 noon with a little cloud cover. We had a couple marks, made turn up and back down the hill, got a nice 55# yellowfin on a Capt. Joes fishfinder. Made another pass and crash, got him on, in 35 minutes a 194 bigeye in the boat. Had our regular tournament team on the boat. Holding on to 1st place sat night,,,last 10 minutes on Sunday knocked down to third place for largest single fish….Great Fish, great crew, we’ll be ready for WMO.
