Capt Todd and first mate Will went out Sunday morning for a 24 hour trip with some regular customers. A little bumpy at first but started the troll in the Washington and after a slow start of a few yellowfins went 3 for 3 on Bigeyes. Bite started at 630pm on ballyhoo and spreader bars. Our crew did an excellent job and went 100% on these monsters weighting 156, 167 and 217.

We set up our chunk at 9pm for the yellowfins. Immediate hook ups and it didn’t stop until our limit of 28 keepers plus releasing another 15 and finally calling it quits at 1230am. They ate butterfish and were not picky, just hungry. All nice size fish between 20-40#s. Big hammerheads crashing the slick looking for an easy dinner of tuna.

Ride home was bumpy but not too bad. Great job by our crew. We are out again tomorrow for another overnighter. We’re fishing just about every day in September. We have a few openings for September overnight trips and October has weekends available.
