Fishing Report For: July 17, 2011

Day 2 Tuna Tournament – Sat on top of the big eye hole in the Washington, marked the big eyes, started at 400ft. The best marks were at 150ft with 45 boats passing over. They simply did not bite. We did have 18 yellowfin bites, threwback 12.Had 3 good ones and 3 keepers at 50#, dozen skippy’s and a small mako. So my crew had 6 yellowfins for the dinner tabl. Tournament produced 600 pd blue marlin, 2 whites, and 8 tunas came home and had plenty of throw backs.
